Celebrating this 4th of July with a POP!
Our favorite time of the year is here! Hotdogs, watermelon, fireworks, and so much more!! There is nothing better than celebrating our Independence with a pool day, cookout, and spending time with loved ones. Whether your gathering is big or small, here are some ways to make your gathering extraordinary this 4th of July!
Decide on the perfect décor - Balloons!
This is something that can take your event to the next level! In addition to the standard American Flag wreaths and table settings, adding a pop of balloons is the best way to spread the patriotic spirit throughout your gathering. In this gorgeous install, we had a blast putting our spin on the fourth and adding in a touch of pink. The backdrop design made for a wonderful photo opportunity for the guests and the garland served as an exquisite backdrop to a festive tablescape.
Craft the Perfect Menu!
You can’t go wrong with your fan favorites, but be sure to include some extra special dishes that will blow your guests away. Try taking normal dishes and incorporating stars, stripes, and Red, White, and Blue! Some of my favorite recipes include a delicious Patriotic Caprese Salad, a No-Bake Berry Trifle, and the most important - the American Flag Fruit Pizza. These are quick and easy recipes that make you look like you spent all weekend in the kitchen!
Keep your guests entertained!
No matter the setting, every guest would love to have an activity to keep them busy. You can’t go wrong with a couple staple games for backyard summer fun - Spike ball, corn hole, and ring toss. A pool day is always a hit and I love adding a festive touch even in the water. Patriotic beach balls, pool floats, and inflatable volleyball net would add the right amount of color and make an extra splash for your pool day. All of the kids would love sparklers, and there is nothing sweeter than seeing the spark in their eyes as they watch the colors burst in the sky.
